In January 2017 Bury Women travelled to @littleboroughrufc and played their first ever game of rugby! A team of 12 complete novices took to the pitch wearing an old 3rd team kit, with the final score being over 80-0 to the hosts.

Fast forward to October 2022 the two teams met again, competing in NC2 Northwest. This time Bury fielded a competitive squad of 21. After a very close and extremely physical game the hosts took the win, but this time by only 1 point!
