AWAY WIN !!

Yet again another sunny day for our away match at Bolton.
The coaches decided to play 3 x 15 minute matches.

Match 1 Bolton 5 – 15 Bury

Bury had a good start with some excellent tackling which resulted in Mikey scoring his 1st try of the morning. The boys continued to work well as a team with good passing and driving. Oscar scored his 1st try of the morning after a fabulous determined run. Joel had a brilliant run he then passed the ball to Oscar who then scored his 2nd try of the match.

Match 2 Bolton 5 – 20 Bury

Hayden came on in this match and started off well by scoring the 1st try. Callum, who was Captain, showed lots of determination with his tackling by driving Bolton into touch. Mikey scored his 2nd try after a
fast run down the wing. Towards the end of the match the boys didn’t give up with both Hayden & Mikey scoring the last two try’s of the match.

Match 3 Bolton 10 – 20 Bury

Again another good game with Bury driving Bolton into touch a couple of times. Dominic was the first scorer of this match closely followed by Oscar scoring the 2nd try, his 3rd of the morning! After an excellent run, weaving in and out of players, William scored the next try. The last try of the match, which was well deserved, was scored by Zach.

Summary

Again well done to the boys, the Friday night training is certainly paying off. They all work hard and support each other both on and off the pitch. The spectators are also very supportive and vocal !!!! Both Oscar and Mikey scored hat-tricks and the Man of the Match went to Mikey
