A cold morning for our early kick off against Tyldesley

The were 14 players available :- Oscar, Will, Ben, Max, Dominic, Hayden, Zack, Bradley, Mikey, Joe, Zac, Jake, Callum and Joel.

Max was made Captain
This was a really tough & physical game for the boys as Tyldesley were much bigger and defended very aggressively. There were some good runs and tackling by the players. Tyldesley gave away numerous penalties for high tackling and handing off but Bury could not capitalise on the advantages given. The only try of the match for Bury was scored by Oscar after an excellent run down the wing.

Well done Boys for the effort put in.

Man of the match went to Ben for his determined effort throughout the match, Well Done !

Coaches Note:
This was the toughest match the boys have played this season, but with playing on a very narrow pitch against a physically superior team who played the game very aggressively the lads really struggled, being unable to find space and use their speed. I have got to say that I was really proud of the whole team due to the fact that they never gave up and continued to tackle there hearts out. Well Done boys, I think more will be gained from this match than any easy win !!!
