Bury U9'S 25 - 10 Rossendale U 9's

It was a nice morning for the home match against Rossendale. And the boys were eager to play their first match since Christmas.

Bury 25 – 10 Rossendale

Mark was made Captain because of his recent improving performances both in games and training.
The boys started off really well with lots of enthusiasm. Oscar made a good tackle, soon followed by an excellent run resulting in Bury’s 1st try and the first of 3 for Oscar. The players were mauling and rucking quite well. Oscar then scored the 2nd try. Max scored the 3rd try after a long run on the wing weaving in and out of the opposition. The boys continued to pass and tackle well. Oscar then scored the 4th try (a hat trick for Oscar). The boys stayed focused and soon Mikey scored the 5th try.

Well done boys for the effort you put in.

Man of the match went to Dominic for his all-round game, quietly, yet effective doing an excellent job for the team with some great runs – Well Done

A very good performance after a long lay-off, the rucking is starting to happen, yet still needs lots of improvement and we need to be on the front foot more when defending.
Rosendale came at short notice and should be credited for a good permance playing rugby the right way.
