Bury U9’s 40 – 30 Bolton U9’s

Jake & Bradley shared the captaincy.

The first half started with Adam, Jake, Bradley, Ben, Mikey, Zack, Callum, Mark & Hayden on the pitch. Bolton began very well scoring 4 try’s to our 2 (excellent try’s from Adam) in the first half.
Our lack of desire to win the loose ball and drive over the ruck as well as most of the players standing out of the contact ball watching resulted in a very disappointing performance, well below the normal standards.

Half Time
Bury 10 – 20 Bolton

After a dressing down from the coach, first of the season during the break and substitutions resulted in a totally different game in the second half. Oscar came off the bench to score 5 fantastic try’s with one more from Adam to complete his hat-trick !!
A much better performance from the whole team, the twins, Bradley and Jake showed what they are capable of in the centre, more of the same please boys.

Bury 40 – 30 Bolton

An extra 8 mins of play to give the boys more time resulted in 2 more try's from Oscar, 1 from Adam and an excellent worked try for Jake.
Bury 20 - 5 Bolton.

A good game against a much improved Bolton side who play the game in manor it should played and we look forward to our next games against them.

MoM Award went to Oscar who turned the game when he came on the pitch, with a special mention for Adam for his hat-trick
