Colne & Nelson U9's v Bury U9's
It was an overcast day for our away match at Colne. Once again the opposition didn’t have enough players, this week Anna, Callum kindly agreed to play for Colne.

Colne 5 v 20 Bury
As usual the boys started off really well with some excellent play. After much determination Will scored the 1st try after an excellent pass from Adam. Mikey soon followed it by scoring the 2nd try after another determined run. In the second half Max received the starting ball, ran straight to their try line and scored a magnificent try. The boys never showed any signs of tiring, even when they kept coming up against Anna and Callum on the opposite team!!. Minutes before the final whistle blew Dominic received a good pass, ran down the wing and scored Burys final try of the match.
The Boys are playing really well and are obviously using what they have learnt over the past months. And most importantly they are all enjoying playing as a team WELL DONE!
Man/Player of the match went to Callum and Anna. Even though they are Bury players, they certainly made it difficult for Bury to score. Well Done!!
Coaches Note:
A really good effort from all the players today, they just need to learn to pass to a team mate earlier.
